Dido Unveils “Greatest Hits” Artwork

The 2CD set includes all of her biggest hits, including “White Flag,” “Life For Rent” and “Thank You”. It also looks like it will feature one new song titled “NYC.”

“checking thru mastered cd of the greatest hits album right now,” Dido wrote on Facebook. “it feels like i’m reading a really personal diary of the last 15 yrs for me! i guess the beauty of writing songs is i’m never going to forget all these really important moments in my life.”

Even though Dido’s debut album, No Angel, sold over 21 million copies, her popularity has been on the decline for years. Her last studio album, Girl Who Got Away (2013), peaked at no. 32 on the US Billboard 200. Still, her latest LP had a few great tracks; mainly “End of Night.” Dido will release the career-defining greatest hits collection on November 25th.

Hey Jared. I’m one of the few who bought her album “Ultimate High” :)

I didn’t get it until a few years back. I think my favorite song is “Surface Wound”. The entire album is pretty good!

I checked out the album a short time after she appeared on American Idol (the second time) and the album is quite nice. It’s a shame it just didn’t work out at all for her back then.
