Pop singer Kelis is gearing up for a major comeback. The Grammy nominated singer-songwriter, who signed a deal with TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek’s label Federal Prism earlier this year, is currently filming a music video to accompany her new single “Rumble.” The song will be the lead single from her forthcoming studio album, which is tentatively titled FOOD.
Earlier this year, Kelis took to Twitter to announce her new LP was finished and ready for release. “I’m really excited, my album is done. It sounds like love and summer balled up into one!
“You asked when new stuff was coming, I procrastinated but no more. It’s here now, I’m happy. You should be too, embrace it! Wepa!”
Kelis released her last studio album, Flesh Tone, in 2010. The album featured the singles “Acapella,” “Scream,” “4th of July (Fireworks)” and “Brave.” Check out a few pictures from the set of the “Rumble” music video below.
