Virtual dance-pop collective Studio Killers (Cherry, Goldie Foxx, Dyna Mink, and Bipolar Bear) have just announced a brand new single titled “Grande Finale.” Goldie Foxx posted the news along with the artwork on Facebook today. While no release date has been announced for the single, the Studio Killers promise it is coming our way very soon. The title of the new single is leaving many fans to speculate that this might actually be the end of the Studio Killers. I am saying a special prayer tonight that this isn’t the last we hear from them!
For those of you who may have no idea who the Studio Killers are, the virtual group released their self-titled debut album, which includes the infectious singles “Ode to the Bouncer,” “Eros and Apollo,” “All Men Are Pigs” and “Jenny,” last year. Despite being one of the finest pop records in recent years, the LP went virtually unnoticed in America, peaking at a disheartening number 183.
Update: It’s not the end!
@JaredBraden Goldie Foxx: I’m pleased to say that “Grande Finale” doesn’t signal the end of Studio Killers. We’re only just getting going!
