R&B/Pop artist and member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida Spencer Battiest has released the music video to accompany his new single “Love Of My Life.”
Having just signed a deal with Hard Rock International, Spencer has made history by becoming the first Native American artist signed to be signed with the label. “I’m very excited to join the Hard Rock family and it is an honor to be the first Native American, Seminole Indian to sign with Hard Rock Records,” said Spencer Battiest. “My first single, ‘Love Of My Life,’ is very meaningful to me as an artist and I am happy to have the opportunity to work with Hard Rock Records in presenting my music to fans around the world.”
Battiest grew up singing gospel music and hymns in Miccosukee, Creek, and Choctaw before turning his sights on Pop and R&B. In 2007, Battiest opened for Aerosmith, Sting and The Police, performing for an audience of more than 100,000 people at the Hard Rock Calling music festival in London’s Hyde Park. Battiest collaborated with award- winning filmmaker Steven Paul Judd (Kiowa/Choctaw), in creating the music video for his latest single “Love Of My Life.” The track is out now on iTunes.
