Take That will release their seventh studio album, III, on December 1st via Polydor. The album, their first since Jason Orange announced he was quitting the group, will be spearheaded by the Greg Kurstin produced single “These Days,” out November 23rd. The track is a nod to the sound that defined their early years, an out-and-out feel good pop smash that isn’t like anything they produced following the 2006 reunion. The song shows just one element from the album, which incorporates a mix of styles and sounds influenced by their last three LPs.
For III, the band chose an eclectic mix of producers to work on the album including Greg Kurstin, John Shanks, Stuart Price and Jeff Lynne. The majority of the album was recorded at the band’s own studios and Abbey Road Studios. With Robbie Williams on hiatus from the group, Take That now consists of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald.
