Former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger is giving a solo career another go with a new single titled “Run.” The Felix Snow produced single, out now on iTunes, kicks off her new partnership with Epic Records, heralding the release of her formal full-length debut for the label in early 2015.
Speaking about the album, Nicole says, “There’s not a million people’s fingerprints all over it, or the feeling that anyone else could sing these songs.” Adding: “I’ve battled a lot of issues and demons, as we all do growing up. But I finally feel confident in my own skin, and so I’m open enough to talk about love, insecurities, relationships, my sensual side. I’ve found my own musical soundtrack to my soul.”
Scherzinger released her debut record, Killer Love, in 2011. The album, which was never released in America, peaked at number eight on the UK Albums Chart, according to the Official Charts Company.
