20-year-old Jasmine Villegas, born in San Jose, California, is set to release her first EP. The project will contain five tracks and will be as a digital download or via digital streaming services on Monday, November 10, 2014. Among the tracks will be the summer anthem “That’s Me Right There,” featuring platinum-selling Kendrick Lamar. Villegas (aka Jasmine V), who signed to Interscope last year, is working towards her first album release in 2015.
Villegas has already accumulated an impressive career. Through numerous TV, music video, and live performances, Jasmine has captured the attention of international audiences. She most recently finished a number of appearances on the Macy’s Hispanic Heritage Month Tour. Her single “That’s Me Right There” has found continued play on the radio and earned her the title of Clear Channel On The Verge artist for Rhythm and Urban radio.
