Los Angeles-based DJ/producer Diplo has confirmed that one of the tracks he produced for Madonna’s next studio album will be the lead single. Speaking to Nova 100 Radio, Diplo said: We have finished the work together. The first single has been chosen and it is one of my songs. Five songs of mine should be on the final track list and are in the mixing stage at the moment.” Adding: “the sessions were fun and most of my tracks have a reggae vibe.”
So far, we know the still reigning Queen of Pop has been working on new music with Diplo, Swedish DJ, remixer, and record producer Avicii, Ariel Rechtshaid, Toby Gad, MNEK, MoZella, and Natalia Kills. Madonna’s last studio album, MDNA, came in 2012. The record, which debuted at number one, becoming her eighth album to top the Billboard 200 chart, spawned several singles: “Give Me All Your Luvin’,” “Girl Gone Wild” and “Turn Up The Radio.”
