Jared Braden Pop music for the LGBT community.Katy Perry has just premiered the beautiful new music video for her latest single “Unconditionally.” Speaking about the video with MTV, Katy said, “It doesn’t have a complete narrative. I do that all the time; I usually have quite a big story line…. This time I wanted to give a lot of gorgeous, beautiful looks, which I don’t usually go for. But it’s mostly just a beautiful video that is supposed to evoke this power of love.”
“Unconditionally” is the second single to be pulled from Perry’s fourth studio album, Prism. The first single from the LP, “Roar”, became Katy’s eighth non-consecutive US Billboard Hot 100 number one, and topped music charts in eight other countries. Can she do it again with “Unconditionally”? I wouldn’t bet against it.
