Fleetwood Mac front-woman Stevie Nicks has unveiled the artwork for her new album, “24 Karat – Songs From The Vault.” The record, which will be released in the United States on October 7th, is composed of tracks that were mostly written between 1969 and 1987. Nicks recorded the album in Los Angeles and Nashville with Dave Stewart, who also produced her last studio release.
“These songs are the memories – the 24-carat gold rings in the blue box,” Nicks says of the record. “Each song has a soul … They represent my life behind the scenes, the secrets, the broken hearts, the broken-hearted and the survivors.”
The LP will be available as both a standard and deluxe edition, the latter of which will feature never-before-seen Polaroids taken by Stevie herself throughout her career. The deluxe photobook will include 48 pages of new/old pictures. If you pre-order “24 Karat – Songs From The Vault” on iTunes, you will get the song “The Dealer” as an immediate download.
