Gwen Stefani has revealed that she has already started work on her third solo album! Speaking with MTV during New York Fashion Week, Gwen said: “I’m going into the studio tonight with Pharrell [Williams], I’m going to be writing and also just seeing what comes along my way. I’ve been recording a few things…”
According to Pharrell, we are in for some next level music from the No Doubt frontwoman. “You’ll never believe that she does not look her age, she doesn’t look like she’s had three children — but that’s the cool part, she is her age and she’s had three children and she’s killing it,” Pharrell says of Gwen. “When I tell you she’s killing it, it’s another level. Gwen is somewhere else.”
Gwen Stefani released her last solo album, The Sweet Escape, back in 2006. The album, which peaked at number three on the US Billboard 200, spawned five singles; most notably the title track. Gwen’s highest charting single came in 2005 with the release of the number one hit “Hollaback Girl.”
