Virtual dance-pop collective Studio Killers (Cherry, Goldie Foxx, Dyna Mink, and Bipolar Bear) have just released a new instrumental companion to their debut self-titled LP via iTunes. Their debut album, which was recorded over a two-year period, includes the infectious singles “Ode to the Bouncer,” “Eros and Apollo,” “All Men Are Pigs” and “Jenny.” Despite being one of the finest pop records of the year, Studio Killers went virtually unnoticed in America, peaking at a disheartening number 183. Who cares anyway, right? I am praying they release a follow-up album soon!
