The Young Wild Releasing New EP Next Week!

Southern California-based group The Young Wild are gearing up for a run of tour dates with Seattle indie-pop trio Barcelona in support of their forthcoming EP, For Now Not Forever, which will be released on September 2, 2014 via iTunes. The EP includes the current single “Moment Goes”.

“‘Moment Goes’ is a special tune for The Young Wild,” band member Brian Bangerter recently told Pure Volume about the song. “It’s not only the first single from our upcoming record but also represents a shift that our band tried to make with our sound. I spent a lot of time sitting at my piano trying to write a traveling song. Anytime I’m on the road I feel a bit like a drifter, in the sense that I never establish any roots with the place I’m passing through. I have no history there, just a moment and then I’m off. So maybe this song carries that theme of drifting as well as change and even lost love, then in the chorus it’s all about the release of all the things we hold on to.”

I think you guys are really going to like “Moment Goes,” so don’t pass this one up. I’ve been demolishing the repeat button on YouTube all evening. It’s rare to come across a young band the captures a level of energy that most bands can only dream of. You can pre-order the EP on iTunes right now.
