It appears we might be waiting a little longer for a new album from American Idol finalist Adam Lambert. In an interview with GLAAD, Adam revealed that he is still working on his third studio album.
“I’m working on my third album,” Adam reveals. “I’ve already put in a good amount of time in the studio and I’m going to continue and finish it. I’m very excited. I think it’s going to be really great, with stuff on there that is a slightly different direction [from what I have done] before, which I’m really looking forward to because I don’t like repeating myself. I am working with some amazing producers and I think people are going to be in for a treat.”
Adam released his last studio effort, Trespassing, in 2012. The record spawned three singles: “Better Than I Know Myself, “Never Close Our Eyes”, and “Trespassing.” Upon its release, Trespassing made chart history by becoming the first album from an openly gay artist to debut at number one on the Billboard 200. I am really looking forward to his next studio album!
