Swedish record producer Kleerup has premiered a new song titled “Let Me In,” which features Norwegian singer-songwriter and former Björk backup vocalist Susanne Sundfør. The song is pulled from the forthcoming mini-album As If We Never Won, out October 13th.
Kleerup, who you may remember from his 2007 collaboration with Swedish songbird Robyn on the gorgeous song “With Every Heartbeat”, says the music found on his forthcoming mini-album is the result of a natural progression from his earlier work.
“My first album was about relationships that didn’t work out, the Me and My Army album was about good versus bad, and “Aniara” was all about confronting mortality,” he explains. “As an artist, a lot of stuff has happened in my life since the last album, but everything’s a bit easier now, thank God. Along the way, I’ve learned two things: 1) everything that happens in the world is not my fault and 2) other people may have a point!”
